INNOVATION CLUB CAMP 2008-Nov 27 & Nov 28
the first day. i met my senior(he wore black club tee de) on the way to sch. we reached sch 10min late. as usual, i was one of the latest de. zzz.
almost everyone were there. except for the usual few who always pon cca and a few who were away for vacation. some seniors came too! too bad thiam shui wasnt there.
the excos settled some admin stuffs and collected the money. zhengguo, gibson and a few went off soon aft. i wondered wat they were up to?
as we waited, the rest were entertained by hadley and the seniors. but i went off wif weiyang and kalmond to play basketball. i noe i noob larx... so long nv play le. i see they play then i think abt myself. haix. i am old le sia.
then hadley came along. he wan us to surrender our wallets and hp. i was like, for wat?!?! a bit random lehx. we did as we were told. but i took out a bit of my money and i was exempted from surrendering my hp. yeah~ i not stupid de kae.
aft the bb, we join in the rest to play captain ball at the parade square. i brought along my volleyball. man i tell u, i totally regretted promising hadley to bring it. cos aft the camp my ball was ruined. MY POOR BALL!!!
the captain ball was fun! cos everyone was entu, and the qiang qiu part very funny. haha.
we gathered at the design studio for our break. phew~ i sweat a lot. but not long aft i sneak out again to play bb. lol. i a bit sort sort de. when i came back, zhengguo already came back wif bags of food. got biscuits, bread, instant noodles, tuna, pringles and so on. ehhhh... i dun understand wat they intend to do. gibson gone le. he nd to go cos he is going to Australia!!! so shiok. must be going wif wqi de. haha.
the excos grp everyone into 3diff grps. my grp got mi, willam, joanne, wjie, minjin and one more sec1(i forgot his name. so sorri~). each grp was given $20. then we are told to go outside to get the stuffs(mainly food) that we nd for the rest of the camp. i was clueless to wat we will nd. each grp was also given the stuffs mentioned earlier that zhengguo bought back. i was like thinking wat else we nd?? the food already have le, then?? i realli cracked my head for this. then william over heard that the utensils will not be provided, so was the fuel for cooking. hmm.
we thought along that line. plus we decided to get some bonus for ourselves. aft planning for a very very long time. my grp was the last grp to head out. zzz.
someone suggested that we go to the seng song in clementi. cos the things there are cheap. lol. i didnt even noe it existed larx. so i followed along. walk and walk. we reach a mini wet market wif a hawker centre beside it. the seng song was not very big. but we found the stuffs we wanted. we bought chicken stock, apples, black sauce, bowls, chopsticks, broccoli, eggs and chicken cream soup.
i was hesitating if we should buy charcoal of bbq wax also. but like very weird lehx. end up nv buy. zzz. i will regret that later on.
on the way back, i finally got to see the unique sand volleyball court in clementi! ah! so cool sia. and i also saw ppl playing inside. nw i noe where it is le. i wan to play too. haha.
my grp came back first. wat a miracle! last to leave, first to be back. this shows that planning do help. dots. then it was off to play bb for mi again...
when the other 2 grps came back, we took all our food and moved to the canteen. there, we begin our cooking session. we are suppose to cook our own food?! wif charcoal?! and we nd to trade our stuffs to get the portable pit, charcoal and even the fire?! WALAO!!! i was totally scammed... feel like a retard. i traded for those using toothpaste, extra bowls and i stole the fire when no one watching. opps! bad example.
we tried to get the charcoal ready for cooking. eh. things didnt turn out the way the excos had planned. the charcoal was okay, but we can onli cook the noodles over naked flames. heat alone was not enough. so the cooking process was like damn slow. zzz.
time files, we onli managed to cook 1 packet of noodles aft half an hr. very ke lian!!! i got the noodles out, split it into smaller portions and share it among my grp. onli i nv eat. lol. see, i so nice =) the rest continued cooking. i got away to get some fresh air. i had breathing difficulty aft breathing in the smoke from the solid fuel that they burn to kp the flame going. i went to play bb...
came back onli when all had eaten and the cooking was done. my teammates so nice, they cooked another packet of noodles just for mi. i was touched!!! inside still got fishball. haha.
dinner ended quite late, we cleared up and gathered in the classroom for our mass game. i must sae, the mass game was boring. onli got 3stations. the first station was hadley's station. we are suppose to gel the hair of one person. of cos, it was mi... who did the styling for others. haha. do u think i so idiot go ruin my own hair. lol. ahHH~ i took a very long time to do that. i still nd to work on my styling skills. too little experience le. not like hadley!!! aft that hadley gave us a clue. we nd to go around the sch to find lego parts. I TELL U THE PLACES THE LEGO PARTS ARE HIDDEN ARE VERY LAME!!! argh...
then we went to the nxt station, pokai's station. we nd to pass down a paragraph in a row. then see how accurate we are. the paragraph was abt a gal named 'eunice'. haha. a bit like the eunice i noe lehx...
the last station was at back at the classroom. zhengguo was there. the task was to place all our feet onto a piece of A4size paper. he ask us to think out of the box. and so i did. guess how we manage to do it?!?! thats 12 feet in total. haha. we all sat down on the floor, then we stack our feets on the paper. thats how...
these games i played before, so i roughly got the idea how to solve them. lol. sadly, my grp came in last place cos we skipped a task. we didnt went back to hadley aft we found the lego parts. so... but nvm, most imptly we enjoyed ourselves!!! haha.
finally, we got to wash up. hmm... this time the guys didnt do disgusting stuffs like peeping at each other bathing like 2years back. but we still played pranks on each others. lol. imagine bathing in fear! so funny!
aft a nice long bath, it was slping time. but onli a few sec1 were tired and went to slp straight away. i was like thinking "come on larx, this is a camp. wont it be too wasted if we didnt spent every sec of it having fun?!" dots.
my juniors join mi and we went playing bb again. for the dunnoe how mani times of the day le. lol. the air was realli fresh and i was not at all slpy. i learnt new moves, discussed abt how to shoot and play different bb games. OMG, i shot like almost a 1000 shots. thats a record for mi. and playing bb at nite is really fun!!! i wan to do it again. haha.
the nite sky was very pretty. i saw a lot of stars. they were very bright. i could even see them shining. how i hope i could take a pic of that. too bad my camera too lan le. haix.
play until 2am liddat, then i went back to the classroom to check on the others. they were not aslp yet. they were playing some games inside the room. so i joined in. we played a no. of games. its too long for mi to describe each and every one, so i shall just list them out. we played blind mice, murderer, ice and freeze, concentration, 123mu tou ren and a slapping game. of cos, we played the games wif some modifications and forfeits. haha. so fun!!!
then we went to the canteen to find the seniors. and we all played netball tgt. haha. it was time to snatch ball again. we played until very feng and rough. but it was lame and enjoying...
everyone got tired, i left the grp to wash up again. cos i nd to dry myself from all the sweat and rest a while. yuheng was very funny. haha. he was toking to his gf over the phone. and he tok for around 2hrs liddat larx!!! so long. he and that gal must be sort de. already wat time le. DOTS...
i went to play bb again. this time, i played all the way till day break. and the sky was REALLI REALLI BEAUTIFULL! waahh~ when i saw how the colour of the sky changed, it somehow made my heart feel warm and relaxed. nw i noe why ppl like to watch the sun rise le. haha. nxt time in the future, i will bring the one i love to watch the sunrise. and i will make her feel LOVED...
it was 6.30am. staffs started coming to the sch. most of the rest were slping. we had a tiring but wonderful nite. i still didnt wan to go to slp. lol. so i asked for permission and went out to central for a walk. yongshin and minjin came along wif mi. we had mac for breakfast. i tell u mac breakfast is the BEST!! it was very nice.
came back at 8am. everyone woke up. we packed up and sat in the canteen for breakfast. thats the second breakfast for mi. lol. had bread and drank chicken cream soup. thx western stall auntie for cooking the soup for us. u are the best! we packed up, aft a debrief and we went home...
the camp was great! and its a success. all the credits must go to the excos for planning everything. the seniors also helped out a lot. and zhengguo and hadley realli gave their best to make this camp a memorable one. THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE THIS CAMP THE CAMP IT IS!!! hope that nxt year we still can have this kind of fun. yeah!!!
