i love the rain

i just realise something. all the titles for my post have no link with the content of the post. lol. most titles are just thoughts that flash through my mind at the very moment i am writing the post.
cultural pop yesterday!!! i am so sorry sinyi!!! i didnt mean it to be late. mi and wqi were both late, leaving sinyi alone at the meeting place for about 20min. opps!?
we reach ucc at around 7.15pm, thats 15min away from the start of the show. found mr cheng among the big( not realli huge) crowd and got the tickets from him. yeah! i saw a lot of familiar faces, seniors, classmates, schmates, teachers and so on. didnt realli saw mani parents, i guess most arent realli interested in these kind of stuffs bahx. we also met eunice before we went in, she was wearing a purple dress and she seems very excited.
our seat were the $16type. we sat at level1, the back portion, 1st row. it was in the middle so our views were just nice. and and and, wjia and sharlyn were just in front of us. cos the control area was situated inbetween the 2portions of seats. so qiao sia. i saw mrs lim, lin lao shi and mdm poon!!! sinyi mistook some guy for hokit. it was funny. hahahaha~
the show started off wif the performance from the band. the conductor is very... engross>>> eh, gd job to the band members, not bad.
nxt were the mcs, they finally appeared. jerald was taller than the female, its true. gd job jerald, u are growing!!! haha. both didnt screw up, but there is still got room for improvement. something else happened though, the mikes didnt work when the mcs were toking. luckily they noe how to react and didnt stone there. lol.
the english drama club performed a short act. it was abt a grp of ppl living in 'nanhua' land and one of them accidentally created a hole in the ozone layer so they were out to mend that hole. funny??
then it was chinese dance by some female dance members. its titled "Happy Pastures of Life". i totally dun understand wat it was abt. onli saw them running around the stage.
the choir. first impression, 'ghostly'. no offence, but they wore white long dresses wif very long red scarf. ?!?!?! they sang well, just have to spend more time thinking abt their outfits.
how can a show be completed without the hilarious crosstalk from the chinese drama society. this time the crosstalk was abt a 'crosstalk superstar competition'. very funny indeed. i bet wang lao shi is very proud of those 2guys on stage that she helped groomed.
there was a break?! i was a bit shocked. cos i didnt noe that there are breaks inbetween concert. lol. i told my sis abt it and she called mi lousy. Zzz. i nv realli attended such concerts before, unlike my sis, so i was new towards all these stuffs.
returning from the break, the guzheng ensemble played 2songs. followed by the chinese orchestra and harp ensemble. didnt manage to indentify eunice while she was playing as all of their faces were blocked by the harps.
there were a so called 'surprise performance' by the nan hua idol of this year. he sang a song by jj. i cant rmb the title of that song. hmm. nice voice and he was very emotional when singing.
finally, the chinese drama society's turn! haha. the title of their act is "足球，篮球". a bit no link to the act larx. dots. it was very funny. not becos of the contents, but becos of the actors. the female actors. haha. both act until very extreme. i wonder if they are wat they are on stage in real life. i cant imagine that, cos it will be disastrous. mingyuan act old man act until very xiang. he realli managed to bring out his character and at the same time not forgetting to add a bit of his own style into it. great job!!! i saw jj's head coming out if the board he was pushing. that guy ah~
the teachers sang again! this time 5male teachers. got mr jonathan tan at the piano, mr chan, mr liu gong kai and a mother tongue teacher( i dunnoe his name). the last one i wont bother to write his name. some were very gd while some were average. but that was not impt, the students there were very supportive of their teachers. the loudest applause came from this performance and the teachers( except the one not mentioned) deserve it. clap~ clap~
the final performance was by the dance society. and wif all the performers and guests up on stage, the concert was brought to a close. i can sae that the cultural pop this year was a success. realli had a great laugh and everyone had put in effort to make the show a gd one. haha.
we met up wif wjia, jj, wjie and yixie before we went home tgt. we were like walking cluelessly when we exited the ucc. lol. at first wanted to have something to eat tgt before heading home, but it was almost 11pm le. so didnt go and eat. i was on the phone when 963 came. then wjie was like boarding the bus le, so i also rush to catch up wif him. end up on the bus le then i realise why am i going home so early?! so lame rite?! i should have stayed longer. haix. reached home at around 11.40pm liddat.
i onli took 2 photos yesterday. i was too too too lazy le. plus, i feel very weird taking photos during the concert. so too bad larx.
